Happy Thursday everyone! It’s that time of year when the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s come out and the layers start to pile on. Yay! When it comes to layering for fall, it’s best to remember the K.I.S.S. method. Keep It Simple Stupid. This is a great thing to remember especially if you are new to layering. For this look, I paired a solid with a print and kept my accessories neutral. During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I paired this plaid button down with this sleeveless sweater on our Instastories, and immediately fell in love with the combination. We also love layering with stripes, camouflage, and florals.
Fall is the perfect time to start playing around with layers. It’s one of the reasons that it is my favorite fashion season. Once you gain the confidence to start layering different prints together, you will find that it gets easier and easier.

Tomorrow marks the first day of Fall, and also the debut of Apple’s I phone 8! Whitney and I already pre-ordered our phones back on the 15th so we are anxiously awaiting their arrivals. The feature that I am most excited about is the camera. There is not only a portrait mode, but also portrait lighting. I am curious to see who is upgrading to an 8, and who is going to splurge on the 10 #sorrynumeral9? I love the idea of the screen, but I am not sure how I feel about losing the home button. There are so many times that I will ask someone else to text for me, and having to use facial recognition to unlock the phone sounds annoying. This is why I decided to upgrade on the 8 and pass on the 10.
Have a fabulous day!
