Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your week so far. There are two things that I just love about this outfit post today. The first is this brown suede skirt! It was a last minute pull-the-trigger purchase from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and man I am not regretting that I got it. I was a little hesitant to style it for the dead of summer. Isn’t there a rule somewhere that states thou shall not wear suede in the summer? Oh well, I am not good at following fashion rules, I love making my own. The other item that I am obsessed with is this Vera Bradley Satchel!!!!! It’s no surprise that I am in love with all of the new Vera Bradley leather items, but this cheetah print bag absolutely sent me over the edge. It combines everything that I currently love in a bag, animal print, leather, and crossbody style! Swoon!
Brown suede A Line skirt: Vince Camuto via Nordstrom ( If you buy this one, size down! I am wearing a 0, and I usually wear a 2 or 4!) {similar style here, here and here}//Denim blouse: J. Crew {similar style here}// Cheetah Print Crossbody Satchel: Vera Bradley Natalie Satchel c/o// Black Gladiator Sandals: old {similar style here and here}// Black leather wrap bracelet: Tory Burch// Gold Link Watch: Michael Kors// Braclets: Loren Hope, here and here// Lips: YSL Rouge Pur couture #32 (a very forgiving red because of its gel-like formula)
I’m really looking forward to seeing lots of suede and animal print this fall. I’m also dying over the rich earth tone color palettes for the upcoming season. Whitney and I got invited to a special shopping event at The Avenue of East Cobb where we got to preview some fall trends for stores like Ann Taylor. We can’t wait to share the details of that in an upcoming post. Also, don’t forget about our giveaways that we are currently hosting! The $500 Nordstrom Giveaway and the Ted Baker giveaway.
Happy Wednesday!
