For me versatility is key.  Finding a great wardrobe piece that can be worn several ways is worth it’s weight in gold.  This BB Dakota black sweater dress (also seen here)  has really earned it’s place in my closet.  I was especially appreciative of it when we had that warm snap last month.  It’s sleeveless, which made it perfect for the 70 degree weather!  The next time I wear it, I will probably layer a black and white turtleneck underneath and belt it.  See, super versatile!

We made it through the first full week of 2016!  Thank God it’s Friday because y’all it’s been a doozy of a week!  You know how earlier in the week I was all, “more water, less wine?”, well that was Wednesday talking, and let me tell you Mama needs a glass of wine!  I joined in this new carpool system for my son’s swim league, and so far it’s been more of a headache than a help.  It’s confusing as heck, and not providing much relief from being in the car, but I’m hopeful that next week will be better.  Oh, and my one hundred and eighty-two year old dog fell into the rose bush earlier this week when it was like 8 degrees outside, and we both got stuck trying to get her out, so that was fun.  YAY FRIDAY!!
