Happy New Year y’all! I’m super excited about 2016 because I have a really good feeling about this year. I know good things are coming my way because I have a positive outlook and big plans! I thought for today’s post I would share with you my 2016 to do list, along with this bundled up winter outfit idea. I know that these boots are sold out, but I found an almost identical pair by the same brand Dolce Vita here.

2016 To Do List:
1. Run more: I really want to get back into my running routine and start training to run a 10K this year. I have run several 5ks, but I want to challenge myself this year and run a longer race. Finding time to fit running into my schedule is important because it’s not just about health, but it’s also about taking time for me. Running is where I do a lot of thinking and planning. Surprisingly it’s where a lot of inspiration comes from for this blog too!
2. Blog more: Growing Peaches In A Pod is a big to do list item this year. I would really like to expand the blog and grow in the lifestyle area. We have experimented with a recipe and home decor, so I think it would be fun to post more in those areas. With that said…
3. Split spending: This year I plan on spending a little more for home improvement projects and a little less on clothing. I have always preached to shopping your own closet, so I will be doing a little more of that in order to spruce up our homestead this year. This is going to be a major challenge for me because y’all know I love me some shoes! Seriously… pray for me.
4. Drink more: Water. Always a New Year’s Resolution for me because I am so bad about it. Little more water, less wine.
I pretty much covered all of the cliche items: health, fitness, money, job, but these are issues that have been on my mind lately, and to quote Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Make the most of yourself…for that is all there is of you.” So what about you? What are your plans for this year?
