Happy Hump day everyone!  I know that you are probably getting tired of hearing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but like I told you before, this is the sale of the season and one that I have been waiting for all summer.  I was at the beach when the sale started, but I promptly ordered some fall staples.  While I wait impatiently for my 13 pound order to arrive, I decided to style a pre-fall outfit with items that are in the sale.  I got this top and scarf last year in the sale, and was delighted to see them back again.  I also found identical matches for the jeans and boots that are on sale too!

I can’t wait to show you guys what I decided to get and keep from the sale.  I ordered a couple of things that were not available in a store near me, and I am on the fence on whether or not to keep them.  My mother was also a contributing factor to my 13 pound order, so I don’t want you guys to think I am a serial over shopper!  I know that it seems like because we have a blog, we do a lot of shopping, but I have really been on a shopping freeze during July.  The items that I keep from the sale will be fall staples, and this is why I think this sale is so great!  You can see from our picks here that we chose items that will be closet favorites this fall, and not just trendy pieces.
