To be honest, white after Labor Day has never really been my thing. I didn’t even get a pair of white jeans until last summer. So the thought of wearing them throughout the year just seems absurd. I seem to have changed my tune, because this year I love pairing fall pieces with my white jeans. There are a few things that need to be adhered to. Which I am going to share.
- Make sure that you are season appropriate. Avoid pastels and summer brights. Stick with darker fall shades. Gray is always a good color.
- Treat white as a neutral, not the main color. Use it as an accent, not the focal point.
- Don’t pair two bright whites together. Mix winter white or ivory for more of a contrast.
- Don’t be afraid to go bold with other colors. It’s white, so the color combos are endless. Just remember to stay within the Fall color palette.
