Currently Loving: Outdoor Decor for Your Home

For the first time in a long time, we have actually had spring-like weather here in Georgia.  Usually it’s freezing, then we get 2 weeks of rain/ yellow dust, and then it’s all of a sudden 90 degrees!  This year we actually got some beautiful weather.  Because of that, I was inspired to do another home decor roundup featuring the outdoor space.  Last year we completely remodeled the decking on the back of our house.  It took twice as long as we thought, but it was completely worth it because we have already enjoyed it so much this year.  I spent a lot of time making our outdoor space just as welcoming as our indoor spaces.  The items below are inspired by my own decor style.  I went with a gray/black/and green color palette, and I could not be happier.

This weekend I plan on adding a ton of green to our outdoor space.  I will be spending my Mother’s Day weekend planting herbs and flowers to add to our deck space.  A palm plant like the one pictured above is also on my shopping list.  

I want to wish all of those moms out there a very Happy Mother’s Day.  I hope your family members show you how special you are, and I hope that you have an amazing weekend spent with the ones you love.
