No White After Labor Day

It’s finally here, the last week of August, which mean no more white.  I know that people are breaking this rule all the time and wearing white year round, which I respect, but we’re Southern and here it’s simply not done. So I thought I would get one more post in with my favorite white dress (seen here) before it’s too late. (Yes, I am using a dress as a skirt!) I’m in love with this outfit.  It gives me a completely new look and shows how versital a fit and flare dress can be.

I am so excited because we leave for the beach on Monday!  It’s been forever since we have had a family vacation and we are desperate to get away for the week!  I am hoping that the weather cooperates and that we can survive a 6 hour car ride with a 19mo old!

    I love this classic and timeless black and white combo! So fresh and crisp! That bright green clutch is the perfect pop of color! I hear you re long car rides with little ones. We have four and we trek down to Hilton Head every year. All I can say is pack snacks and toys strategically and don't forget an extensive DVD collection! Have a great trip 🙂

    Very cute! Layering a top over a fit and flare dress can be a really hard look to pull off (at least when I try it), but it looks great the way you did it! These pieces really work well for this kind of layering!
