Gray seems to be my go to color for winter, so when I say this cute bell sleeve sweater I knew it would be a great addition to my closet. It can easily be dressed up or down, which I love.
I’ve been on the fence about over the knee boots for a while. Not that they aren’t great, but they aren’t always great on me. I don’t have thin legs and I am short, so finding a pair that works for me has been a challenge. On other people (i.e. Blaire, who wears them amazingly – see here) they look so good. I love my brown ones, but I have to fight like a badger to get them on. It’s not my favorite thing to do, so I don’t wear them often.
I had a dress that I really wanted to wear black boots with over the holidays. So I went on the hunt to find a pair. I don’t like to pay a lot for items that I am not sure of, so when I found these at Target I figured that I would give them a try. I am so happy that I did because they are great! They are so easy to get on and are not too high for my petite size. I may even invest in a splurge pair for next year like these or even theses!
Today is my oldest 5th birthday! I can’t believe that it’s already here and that he’s grown so much! We are not doing a full theme party at our house, like we did this year. Thank goodness! He does want an Avenger’s party, but luckily he also wants to go bowling. So we are having an Avenger Bowling party on Saturday. My husband is thrilled that he doesn’t have to draw on everything, like he did last year. I am kind of at a loss, they do pretty much everything at the bowling ally. My crazy mom side is like wait what? I need to be doing more. But my overly tired mom side is like oh bless you! I just hope that I can keep 15 pre-schoolers wrangled together for 2 hours!
