Living in Georgia means dealing with some serious Summer heat.  It’s definitely hard to come up with a cute Summer outfit idea when it is 100 degrees outside and all you want to do is take an ice bath.  This look is perfect for those scorching days because of the shorts and the lightweight top.  The easy going accessories make this outfit stand out.  I fell in love with these palm print sandals the minute I saw them.  I have a lot of neutral colored sandals, so I wanted to add some that had a cool print to my closet.

It’s been really dreary and rainy so far this week.  Our deck project has come to a standstill because of all of the wet weather, which a total bummer.  In the mean time I keep dreaming of new patio furniture and all of the fun items I plan on adding once it is finished.  Here are some items that I have my eye on, or have already grabbed.

    This outfit does look cool and breezy, I love lightweight pieces in this heat! The sandals are so pretty too, I love the palm print. Hopefully the weather cooperates and your deck gets finished soon, I know you’ll have a blast decorating it!

    I love the all white look with the turquoise necklace. We had a week of upper 90s – and you just melt and want to stay inside. I might have missed it – but I hope everything got resolved with the toilet/deodorant issue.
