This outfit is not revolutionary, I honestly saw 3 variations of it this morning at pre-school drop-off. It is, however, classic especially for the holidays. Plaid shirt + a vest = a festive casual outfit that can be worn all day. I really hope that you are not sick of plaid yet, because we have a few more amazing looks that are plaid focused coming at cha this month.
I was thrilled to find that J. Crew Factory re-made this Sherpa black vest from last year. It’s not identical, this year’s is fleece, but it is pretty close. It also comes in an amazing camel color that I may have to get as well. Plus it’s under $50!! Mine, was nowhere near $50! So go and get it now. I also found a velvet option for under $120 that is amazing!!
Now we can talk about my booties. I get asked about them all the time, everywhere I go. They are just black suede booties, but they are really good ones.
I got these last year in two colors, nude and black. I was so excited when I found them again and almost all sizes are available! Plus they are on sale for under $100! I did go up a half a size, because you have to work your foot into them, there’s no zipper. But once they are on they are super comfortable and can be worn all day.
Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes for my son. He is doing so much better and we are so happy. We have a super busy weekend coming up. My husband’s company holiday party is on Saturday and I can’t wait to wear the black lace dress that I posted about here. It’s at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and they have an amazing light display throughout the property. Blaire went last weekend and loved it! So I can’t wait to see it. I will make sure to put it on InstaStories for you!
On Sunday going to see the lights at Life University, who does a huge display throughout their campus. The boys haven’t been and I can’t wait to see their faces! I just keep singing It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in my head over and over. I am so happy that the holiday is in full swing!
